Plant a Tree Week

In support of ‘Plant a Tree Week’ Jacob and Annunziata Rees-Mogg planted an ash tree near the border between Somerton and Frome and North East Somerset.  Annunziata had grown it from a sapling at her home in Mells.

Jacob said “Plant a Tree Week is a good occasion to celebrate the natural beauty of Somerset’s countryside and help maintain it for future generations.” Annunziata added, "I have been nurturing and planting local trees in Somerset for over ten years. Not only are they a beautiful part of our countryside but vital to the local ecology and a sustainable environment."
